Advantages Of Screw Chillers

Jan 18, 2024 Leave a message

A screw chiller is an efficient refrigeration equipment that mainly compresses and cools the refrigerant through a screw compressor to achieve the purpose of cooling.
The power of screw chillers is generally high, mainly used in central air conditioning systems or large-scale industrial refrigeration.
The refrigeration system consists of four main aspects: evaporator, compressor, condenser, and throttling device: 1. Evaporator: plays a role in compressing low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant gas into high-temperature and high-pressure gas in the refrigeration system. It is a closed container, usually made of copper or aluminum, and some are made of alloy materials.
2. Condenser:
Plays a cooling role in the refrigeration system; When the refrigeration oil is cooled, the temperature increases and it becomes liquid (i.e. liquefied), releasing heat.
3. Compressor:
It is one of the components of the entire refrigeration system, which is operated by a rotating mechanism consisting of a set of spiral blades driven by an electric motor.
4. Throttling device:
Its function is to control the amount of liquid entering the evaporator to meet the required flow rate and pressure requirements.
5. Capillary and drying filters:
Their function is to prevent impurities in liquid refrigeration oil from mixing with gaseous refrigeration oil and affecting the normal operation of the machine.
6. Storage tank and expansion valve:
It is a valve device that automatically returns the refrigerant liquid in the system to the suction pipeline of the compressor after shutdown.
7. Electromagnetic directional valve:
Its function is to quickly cut off the motor power supply circuit to ensure safe operation when the power supply suddenly drops.
8. Check valve:
Its function is to ensure a balance between the supply of liquid and the return of oil.
9. Pressure gauge and vacuum pump.
10. Visual liquid mirror.
