1. The screw chiller compressor is mainly composed of two components that rotate and closely cooperate with each other, known as screws.
As the screw rotates, the refrigerant is gradually compressed, eventually forming a high-pressure and high-temperature gas state.
2. Heat exchanger is divided into two parts: condenser and evaporator.
In the condenser, the refrigerant transfers the heat of the high-temperature compressed gaseous refrigerant to the cooling water through heat exchange with the cooling water, allowing the refrigerant to cool and condense into a liquid state.
In the evaporator, the refrigerant undergoes heat exchange again, converting the liquid refrigerant into a gaseous state and absorbing surrounding heat, resulting in a decrease in temperature.
3. The diffusion valve is located at the outlet of the evaporator and can control the flow rate and pressure of the refrigerant through it.
When the refrigerant passes through the diffusion valve, the pressure drops sharply and the temperature also drops, forming a low-temperature and low-pressure state in the evaporator, thereby absorbing surrounding heat and lowering the temperature to the required range.
In summary, the screw chiller mainly compresses the refrigerant through a screw compressor, and then achieves the refrigeration process through a heat exchanger.
It has the characteristics of high refrigeration efficiency, large refrigeration capacity, and strong stability, and is widely used in various occasions that require cooling, such as cooling waterways and solar water heaters.
